We are excited to welcome our two new game changers to the commission in 2023, Hank Vogler and Janet VanCamp. We couldn’t be more blessed to have such honorable representation enter the scene in these times.

DownloadThere’s an overwhelming dissatisfaction with our County Commission Board since the onset of 2020 most especially, with constituents expressing concerns that this board seems ever more interested in serving themselves over their constituents for which this board is intended. All our budget ever does is increase, but no real substantial return is realized by those funding it. At the detriment of the tax paying public on the precipitous of an economic recession, we all watch in shock and awe, as poorly thought-out business arrangements are made, even some treasonous in nature, the unethical lobbying, filled with favoritism free bee handouts and colluding interests of indisputable conflict, giving themselves all pay raises and kickbacks flying left and right. All of this, while the public is footing the bill getting taxed and levied to death.
Well you requested and we are delivering. For the people by the people, we are proud to announce that we are in the process of development for an interactive centralized platform that’d allow for a more transparent open service dialogue between our elected commissioners and their concerned constituents.
Our commissioners are entrusted with more powers than most people realize. They have the authority to relieve the strain they imposed on the people, and we will petition that they halt the out-of-control spending.
FIRST: We do not need to pay TWO DA's (referencing the additional one that re-branded himself as "County Manager").
County Commissioners ... DID YOU KNOW? ... the history of Revised Statutes with regard to the position of a "County Manager"? There is a reason that the POPULATION is the prime deciding factor as to whether or not to hire a County Manager (preceding the most recent revision). We are among THE SMALLEST counties in all of Nevada, with under 10,000 populous. According to the most recent census ending July 2022, the White Pine County populous is 8,788. It's a bit deceiving in that this census actually includes prison inmates being detained at the Ely State Prison. Being that these inmates don't have voting rights nor do they contribute to the County's tax revenue stream, we must adjust for that. The adjusted populous for White Pine County is actually 7,605 [8,788 ~ less max. prison compacity of 1,183].
WE DO NOT NEED TO PAY FOR TWO DISTRICT ATTORNEY SALARIES WITH SUCH A SMALL POPULATION FOOTING THE BILL. Mr. Wheable understands this full well but played on your ignorance of the law. This form of trickery is what we call Embezzlement by Deception (those who know better, even operating under a licensure, who by themselves or sometimes conspiring with others, take advantage of those who holds the power, but in their ignorance to what is happening, are tricked into giving up control in the form of money, monetary favors, cushy job positions, kickbacks, ect.). DID YOU ALSO KNOW... YOU are HIS boss (not the other way around). With all that has been furnished to you as far as the undeniable Malfeasance in Office of Michael A. Wheable, you must do your jobs as the council voted in charge and fire him, or WE WILL. Please educate yourselves on what the position of a County Manager is actually intended for (below). It was never an "Executive" position, nor was it intended to be such ...
