Rick Becker, chair of End Unfair Property Tax
Have our entrusted property assessors gone Rogue? We are witnessing a breakdown of our local government right before our very eyes and a Property Tax Extortion Crisis of Catastrophic Proportion in White Pine County Nevada. While the CPI Index has indeed experienced an influx upward due to inflation, there is no justifiable means by which to assess a primary home residence over 30% in a single fiscal tax year, many have reported. As Nevada State Legislature recognizes, a tax increase of 3% or more constitutes a “SEVERE HARDSHIP”. An in-depth auditing has been set into motion but from the sampling that's been conducted thus far, the average homeowner in White Pine County was side-blinded with a 7-8% property tax increase (and higher), commencing the year 2023. And things are only expected to worsen in the years ahead if we don't act now. Even with the 3% tax cap false sense of security, we've identified a massive manipulation campaign to artificially bloat home valuations to make up the difference, harboring the advent of a housing bubble to the likes of the notorious 2008 crash; possibly much worse. Stay tuned as we’ll have more resources to offer the devastated residents while we continue to develop this initiative for change, joining forces with other community organizations throughout the country,
FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE.
Rick Becker of North Dakota, chair of End Unfair Property Tax, forging the way forward to revolutionize this paradigm shift in 'Government Gone Wild'. There is absolutely no reason we can't bring this measure to White Pine County and Nevada. Of all tax levies as a matter of debate,

All that will be revealed with respect to the unchecked corruption will quite literally knock the socks off of every White Pine County citizen, but we are going to kick-start 2024 right with FULL TRANSPARENCY. All of those that didn't feel it this last 2023 fiscal tax year are beginning to feel it now. YOU'RE NOT ALONE as this entire township has been triggered into action.
We are inundated with emails, many of you who've expressed a strong desire to get involved but just don't know how. We'll have more information to provide in the coming months on how you can get involved. We have one group putting together their own initiative, a petition campaign to have these corrupt public employees removed. We also have another group catching steam, coordinating a class-action lawsuit regarding the widespread discrimination taking place. If you are interested, feel free to Contact Us and we'll route you to the right folks for this movement.
We've received many requests inquiring about which oversight agencies you may submit your complaints to, regarding the unfair assessment of your property. Many of you have come to learn that our local authorities have demonstrated an unwavering lack of interest to be of assistance at all. The local county-level Equalization Board would be the standard chain of command however many are reporting they didn't receive their tax estimates until after the deadline already passed. Of those that did, that do show a very legitimate basis upon which to contest, were allotted just days and thus missed the deadline as well. With all that has been demonstrated by this Assessor Office, it's not at all an unfair statement to say this may have been a calculated effort to deny as many property owners as they can, rightful assistance for a second look. The State of Nevada Department of Taxation/State Board of Equalization (SBOE) is the next chain of command. Here is where you may find more information. Forms available to the public by the state department may be found Here.

With limited staff here at Government Ethics and Accountability, we are working as diligently as we can to prepare our official submission and get the proper oversight agencies involved to investigate this county before we find ourselves in a full-fledged disaster, which would include the State Department of Taxation and others. The Declaration of Non-Consent form is available as a courtesy to all of those that wish to utilize it. This is just an added layer of protection for you, and the more of us that do utilize this, it will greatly assist in the reform initiative we intend to put forth. We are also partnering with several other community organizations throughout the country. We strongly encourage you to check out Dr. Rick Becker's movement in North Dakota to see what he is proposing for their state, as well as his Facebook Page; a plethora of great information. There are others, faithful stewards of the people: property assessors, commissioners, public officials, pro-active members of society throughout the country in their elected townships that are taking bold strides during this critical point in time; even proposing new legislation for their respective states with whom we are closely following as well. We'll have much more information to provide as things continue to develop.
WHERE IS ALL THIS PROPERTY TAX REVENUE BEING WASTED?
A recreation center that nobody uses?
Pay raises to all those that should be exceptionally grateful to have a job, in this environment on the precipitous of an economic recession?
